Music Licensing
Licensing music for films is a complex undertaking that involves securing permission from a variety of sources. At a minimum, this process includes getting synchronization rights from the publisher and master use rights from the owner of the recording. Oftentimes it is also necessary to secure an agreement with the American Federation of Musicians, and in some cases obtain releases from people who have worked on the song.
We can assist you through all stages of the process, including tracking down rights holders, negotiating deal points, and reviewing contracts prior to execution.
