POST-PRODUCTION

Golden Rules

Our “Golden Rules” pertain to all stages of the filmmaking process.  Sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, these rules can serve you in countless ways, from philosophical guideposts to pragmatic witticisms, from point-makers to argument-enders.  A few examples:

  • Always leave locations better than you found them.
  • A full crew is a happy crew.
  • Making a film actually means making three: The one you write, the one you shoot, and the one you cut.
  • “No” is better than “maybe.”
  • Don’t sleep with any member of your cast during production.
  • Whoever said “All Things Happen for the Best” is full of shit.
  • Never invest more than you can afford to lose.
  • Always remember the are exceptions to every rule.
